AVAM (Associated Visual
Artists of Madrid) invites proposals for a competition to select eight
artistic projects to be developed during the second half of 2008.
Recipients will be awarded a maximum amount of 6.000 € for the
production of the art project, plus 3.000 € as honorarium to cover the
making of the work and the author's rights.
Artists of any nationality may participate, regardless of age.
Participants must present an original and unpublished project (it may
currently be in some phase of production) to be partially, or totally
completed during the duration of the grant.

DEDALUS FOUNDATION, INC.
2009 SENIOR FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
The Dedalus Foundation invites applications to its program of grants in
support of art historians, critics, and curators pursuing projects
related to the study of modern art and modernism. Applicants need not
be affiliated with educational institutions or museums; they may not,
however, be candidates for a degree. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
Awards will be made for periods of up to one year. Stipends will vary according to need, with a maximum of $30,000.
Completed applications and supporting letters must be submitted
electronically by September 15th. Announcement of the award will be
made by mid-December.

The CGCA Fellowship Program is a professional program providing focused, self-directed artists with three-month and six-week
fellowships. The CGCA program provides housing, the facilities,
equipment, and technical orientation within a respectful sanctuary of
concentrated time. Fellowships provide emerging and mid-career artists
unrestricted access to the facilities and materials necessary for
blown, sculpted, cast and kiln-formed glass.

Grants - Women's Studio Workshop & Artist-In-Residence
WSW offers a variety of Artist-in-Residence opportunities. WSW Resident
artists will receive 24-hour studio access, technical and production
assistance, on-campus housing, travel per diem, a materials stipend,
and a weekly personal stipend during their stay. All
Artists-In-Residence are selected through a rigorous jurying process.
Artist's Book Residency: 8
Consecutive Weeks— This grant is for an artist to produce a limited
edition artist's book while in residence at the WSW.

Fellowship opportunitiesWSW
Fellowship opportunities are designed to provide concentrated work time
for artists to explore new ideas in a dynamic and supportive community
of women artists.
Fellowships are partially-subsidized opportunities, award recipients will receive reduced rate on studio use and housing.
Studio
Fellowships: This opportunity is designed for artists working in any of
the WSW studios. Artists may apply for four- to six-week sessions
between September and June.

Ceramics
Fellowships: WSW offers a limited number of special fellowships to
potters who make bowls for the annual WSW Chili Bowl Fiesta

Art-In-Education
Fellowships: This teaching-based fellowship allows artists who work in
intaglio, silkscreen, or hand papermaking to work on their own project
for four weeks, then spend four weeks teaching local grade school
students.
