Arlington Arts Center Deadline: 07/01/09
Arlington Arts Center seeks contemporary fine artists working in all
media for solo exhibitions in our 2009 season. Ten to fifteen artists
will be chosen to show in our seven separate galleries—or on our
grounds, in the case of outdoor sculpture. Jurors include: Anne
Ellegood, Curator for the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, and
Philip Barlow, notable Washington, D.C., art collector. Deadline for
applications is July 1st; notifications will go out no later than

Artist Proposals
the finch gallery is designed to exhibit one artist or collaborative
group at a time. we are looking to work with such artists as to present
a single cohesive statement, allowing for the full scope of the works'
intention to be understood. all mediums including performance will be
explored. for consideration please send the following to info@finchgallery.com:

- proposal essay (informal explanation of purpose of specific
work shown, possible groupings, and other organizational notes)

Call for Artists Proposals
Isadore Gallery
Deadline: 03/31/09
We are currently seeking exhibition proposals from ambitious and
thought provoking contemporary artists in mediums which include
painting, sculpture, drawing, ceramics, video, printmaking, performance
and photography to participate in group, joint and individual shows.
Proposals should include:
Artist Statement and resume in Microsoft Word format (.doc)
Contact information (include email and mailing address, telephone number and website)
Digital images of your work in .jpeg file format accompanied by the
title, medium, dimensions, date, retail price and dates when the work
is available
Participation goals and artist intentions (ie. holding works on
consignment, proposal for duo or solo show, group exhibition
opportunities, etc.)
Any equipment needed
Self Addressed Stamped Envelope if you are sending slides or CDs and
wish to have them returned to you. Otherwise your submissions will not
be returned.

Lori Ledis Curatorial
Fellow (Curators Only)

What
Twice annually, the Gallery dedicates its Project Room and staff
support to realizing the vision of two emerging curators who are
selected through a competitive selection process. The Lori Ledis
Curatorial Fellowship was established in honor of Lori Ledis, a
pioneering art dealer and music producer.
Who
Any creative person who wishes to curate an exhibition may apply.
Curators who hold a junior position at a cultural institution and/or
who work in a freelance capacity are eligible to apply.

Spring Exhibition March – April 2009
How
A jury will review proposals to select two finalists. Each finalist is
awarded a $600 honorarium and will be named a Lori Ledis Curatorial
Fellow.

Exhibition Opportunites (curators welcome)
The Green Lantern is always accepting proposals for exhibitions,
events, and performances from aritists and curators alike. Programming
is set about one year in advance, and under the umbrella of prescribed
themes. From Fall 2007-Summer 2008, Green Lantern programming will
focus on the cyclical themes of life and death. We will keep other
exhibitions in mind for later dates.
For exhibitions, the Green Lantern supplies postcards, postage, a newsletter for documentation, and hospitality.
Please send an exhibition proposal, a CV, 10-15 digital images of work
that will be featured in the show (any media), and when possible, 2
